^ Select music with a lot of bass.

4. If speaker noise is still heard, diagnose for a defective speaker or speaker circuit.

^ Dismount the speaker and hold it in your hand while music is playing. If noise is present, replace the speaker. If speaker sound is good, firmly secure

the speaker back into the mounting location and proceed to step # 5.

5. Using adhesive-backed, thin (approx. 1.0 mm) felt material (available in MMNA BSR kit p/n MB991752), cut two circles, approximately 3/4"
(19mm) in diameter.

6. Release the bottom edge of the door pocket insert from the door trim panel flange (this may have already occurred while removing the door trim
panel). This will allow access to underneath the map pocket corner tabs.

7. Remove the liner from the back of the felt insulator. Balance a felt pad on the end of a trim stick that has a 45° bend at the end. Affix the pad to the
under side of the corner tabs of the door pocket as shown with the felt side down. It must be centered in the areas indicated in the photos to be effective.
The felt will provide a cushion between the map pocket and the "+" shaped door trim panel standoffs.
