GLOVE BOX FIT ADJUSTMENT

This TSB supercedes TSB-09-52A-002, issued November, 2009, to revise repair procedures and add parts. Revised information is shown with a <.

PURPOSE

This bulletin contains repair information for eliminating a gap between the dashboard and glovebox that may exist on some affected vehicles. For new
vehicles, correcting this condition BEFORE delivery to the customer will help to raise overall IQS scores.

Some affected vehicles may have a gap at the upper left corner of the glove box and the dash.

To eliminate the gap, follow the procedures in this bulletin.

2004-10 Galant

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the right hand side door sill cover, the right hand side outer kick panel and the right hand dashboard side cover.

2. Remove the glovebox assembly per the service manual.

NOTE:

Care should be taken with the customer's personal belongings. Place them in a container (box or bag) and put them where they will be safe. Return them
to the glovebox when repairs are complete.
