SERVICE TIP:
A new 3-wire A/C pressure sensor is used on these models. A thorough understanding of this sensor can speed up A/C diagnosis. The sensor is located in
the high-side line. The A/C controller sends out a 5-volt reference and a ground on pins 1 and 3. The sensor sends back a varying voltage signal on
center terminal pin 2, according to the pressure. Back probing the center terminal (the green/orange stripe wire) quickly gives a voltage reading. Use the
following chart to convert voltage to pressure.
