Press a transmitter button, then press it again two times within 10 seconds of the first press. This will reprogram the transmitter.
f.
The the transmitter is programmed, the ETACS-ECU automatically locks and unlocks the doors once.
g.
If two or more transmitters are to be programmed, repeat the above procedures within one minute after completing step d.
IMPORTANT
Transmitter registration/reprogramming will cancel under the following conditions:

When four transmitters have been programmed.

When one minute has passed after registration/reprogramming mode is started.
^
When the V.C.I. is disconnected.
^
When the ignition key is removed from the ignition switch.

After all transmitters are registered/reprogrammed, turn the ignition switch to the LOCk (OFF) position, disconnect the V.C.I., then remove
the ignition key from the switch. Close all doors, then check to make sure the keyless entry system operates properly.
