Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

Measure clutch pedal height (A) and clutch pedal clevis pin play (B), Fig. 9. The value of (A) should equal 6.8-7.0 inches. The value of (B) should
equal .04-.12 inch.

If either (A) or (B) are not within the correct range, adjust as follows: 

a. Turn and adjust the bolt so that pedal height is correct, then secure by tightening locknut, Fig. 10. Disconnect clutch switch connector and

turn the switch for standard clutch pedal height, then lock with the locknut.

b. Turn pushrod, Fig. 11, to adjust clutch pedal clevis pin play to proper value, then secure pushrod with with locknut. When adjusting clutch

pedal clevis pin play, ensure that pushrod is not pushed toward the master cylinder.
