Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair
When removing the fuel pipe, hose, etc., since fuel pressure in the fuel pipe line is high, do the following operation so as to release fuel pressure in the
line and prevent fuel from running out.
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Disconnect the connection between the floor wiring harness and the fuel wiring harness that is under the floor carpet.
3. Start the engine and let it run until it stops naturally, turn the ignition switch to OFF.
4. Connect the fuel wiring harness and floor wiring harness.
5. Install the rear seat cushion.
