Place the float arm in the middle of its travel to move the arm away from the float arm guide.

Using your thumb, gently unsnap the float arm lock to the left as shown by the arrow in the illustration.

! CAUTION

To prevent damage to the sending unit resistor card, do not apply any bending or twisting force to the float arm.

Lift the float arm straight up and out of the pivot to remove it.
