If the connectors are in good condition, go to Step 5.
STEP 5. Check the harness wires between ETACS-ECU connector C-86 and front passenger's door lock actuator connector E-07.
NOTE: After checking junction block connectors C-78 and C-84 and intermediate connector C-69 <1999 models only> and C-72, check the wires. If
junction block connectors C-78 and C-84 and intermediate connector C-69 <1999 models only> and C-72 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to
Harness Connector Inspection.
If the harness wires between ETACS-ECU connector C-86 and front passenger's door lock actuator connector E-07 are damaged, repair them.
All doors should be locked or unlocked.
If the harness wires are in good condition, replace the ETACS-ECU.
