STEP 11. Check the harness wires between front passenger's door lock actuator switch connector E-07 and ETACS-ECU connector C-81.
NOTE: After checking intermediate connectors C-69 <1999 models only> and C-72, check the wires. If intermediate connectors C-69 <1999 models
only> and C-72 are damaged, repair or replace them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.
If the harness wires between front passenger's door lock actuator switch connector E-07 and ETACS-ECU connector C-81 are damaged, repair them.
The input signal from the front passenger's door lock actuator switch should be able to be checked and the functions, which are described in the
"Technical Description (comment)," should work normally.
If the harness wires are in good condition, replace the ETACS-ECU.

STEP 12. Check the rear door lock actuator switch (LH) ground circuit at the rear door lock key cylinder switch (LH) connector E-11.
1. Disconnect the rear door lock actuator switch (LH) connector E-07 and measure at the harness side.
2. Resistance between terminal 1 and ground.

Should be less than 2 Ohms.
If open circuit, go to Step 13.
If less than 2 Ohms, go to Step 15.
STEP 13. Check the rear door lock actuator switch (LH) connector E-11 for damage.
If the rear door lock actuator switch (LH) connector E-11 is damaged, repair or replace it. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.
The input signal from the rear door lock actuator switch (LH) should be able to be checked and the Theft-alarm system should work normally.
If the connector is in good condition, go to Step 14.
