Remove the side air bag module with its harness. Note the harness routing.

Install the new air bag module (see PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin).
Tighten the air bag module mounting nuts to 19 - 27 Nm (14 - 20 ft/lbs). After torquing both nuts to specification, re-torque the first nut.

Route the harness between the cushion and the seat frame bar, as the original harness was positioned. Install the harness.
Reinstall the seat cover attachment clips. Be sure the cover material and its inner lining is smooth (not wrinkled) at the side of the seat.
