NOTE: 

It will take up to 5 minutes to complete the reprogramming process.

The Daytime Running Lights and both the engine and condenser fans will automatically be turned on during reprogramming. Care should be taken to
insure nothing gets caught in the moving fan blades. The radio will be turned off and you will also hear a chime in the interior for a short period of time.
These are normal conditions.

This message will display when the PCM reprogramming is successfully completed. Record the S/W (Software) Part No. and compare it to
the "New Part No." from the table in attachment 1 at the end of this TSB.

Click the check mark and you will be returned to the
"ECU Reprogramming" page.

Turn the ignition key/knob to the OFF position.

Replace the Throttle Body

If the original diagnosis confirmed that DTC P2100 was stored in the PCM's memory, and the integrity of all circuits relating to the throttle body have
been confirmed, replace the throttle body assembly. Refer to the service manual for specific information regarding replacement procedures.

IMPORTANT:

It is expected that a shorted throttle body combined with DTC P2100 will have a very low incidence rate. Only replace the throttle body after you
have confirmed that DTC P2100 was stored in memory and no other condition (loose connector, damaged wiring, etc.) has been identified as the
cause.

Erase and Read ALL DTCs.

Using the MUT III, check and erase ALL DTCs from all systems as follows.

Select "Special Function."
