STANDARD VALUE OF REDUCTION GEAR PRELOAD CHANGED - SERVICE MANUAL REV.
PURPOSE
To correct the service manual due to a change in the standard value of the reduction gear preload, and the addition of thinner preload setting shims.
^ Standard value changed from 0.13-0.19mm (.005-.008") to 0.11-0.17mm (.004-.006")
^ Shim sizes 0.56mm (0.022") and 0.60 (0.023") added to the list of adjusting shims in the applicable service manuals.
^ Shim sizes 2.04mm (0.057") through 2.24mm (0.088") removed from the list of adjusting shims in the applicable service manuals.
