FUEL PUMP RELAY CONTROL
The fuel pump relay control is basically the same as that for the 1.8L engine installed in the MIRAGE. However, fuel pump relay 1 has been added in
order to supply power directly from the battery to the fuel pump motor.

When the ignition switch is turned "ON" position, fuel pump relay 1 turns ON, allowing the positive battery voltage to be applied to fuel pump
relay 2.

No changes have been made to the control that is effected by the engine control module (ECM) <M/T> and the powertrain control module (PCM)
