Code Charts/DTC 22 Then go to Step 4.
STEP 3. Check the symptoms.
Q: When the brake pedal is depressed, is the cruise control cancelled?
YES : It can be assumed that this malfunction is intermittent.
NO : Replace the ECM. When the ECM is replaced, register the encrypted code (Refer to Diagnosis - ID Code Registration Judgment Table.)

Then go to Step 4.
STEP 4. Check the symptoms.
Q: When the brake pedal is depressed, is the cruise control cancelled?
YES : The procedure is complete.
NO : Return to Step 1.

Clutch Switch System Circuit
CIRCUIT OPERATION

Terminal number 85 of the ECM connector B-109 monitors the clutch switch state.

The clutch switch turns ON/OFF when the clutch pedal is depressed/released, and the input signal to the ECM changes. According to this change,
the ECM judges the clutch switch status.
