Raise and support vehicle then remove wheel.

Remove guide pin, Fig. 3 and 4.

Lift caliper assembly and support to frame suing suitable wire. Guide pin is coated with special grease. Be careful not to remove grease and
ensure no dirt adheres to pin.
4.
On models with 1.5L/4-92 engine, remove the following:
a. Inner shim and anti-squeak shim.
b. Pad assembly.
c. Outer shim and anti-squeak shim.
d. Pad retainer.
5.
On models with 1.6L/4-98 engine, remove the following:
a. Outer shim.
b. Outer pad assembly.
c. Inner pad and wear indicator assembly.
d. Clip.
