Fuel Filler Door Hook - Not Closing Flush

PURPOSE
On some early Mirages, it may be found that the fuel filler doors are not closing flush with the quarter panel. Probably the hook, or stopper, has become
detached from the quarter panel and is no longer stopping the door in its proper position. These hooks are of molded plastic and are snapped into the
quarter panel by springy ears. If one or both of the ears is broken, the hook no longer fits tightly into the quarter panel and is no longer able to locate the
fuel filler door.

INSTRUCTIONS
If this condition is found, replace the hook with a new one. There are two part numbers, one for cars with remote release and the other for cars without
remote release. Replacement is made by reaching inside the car, squeezing the plastic ears together, and pulling the hook through the opening. Sequence
is shown in Figure 1.
