Closed Throttle Position Switch: Testing and Inspection
Idle Position Switch

1.

Remove rubber cap.

2.

Check for continuity between terminals and switch body.

3.

If there is no continuity when throttle valve is placed in idle position or there is continuity when throttle valve is opened, replace switch.

4.

Fasten connector and rubber cap securely.
