Hydraulic Assembly: Service and Repair
CAUTIUON:

The hydraulic unit is heavy, so care should be taken when removing it.

The hydraulic unit assembly is not to be disassembled. Its nuts and bolts should absolutely not be loosened.

The hydraulic unit assembly must not be dropped or otherwise subjected to impact shocks.

The hydraulic unit assembly must not be turned upside down or laid on its side.
PROCEDURE
1. Drain brake fluid.
2. Remove windshield wiper motor.
3. Remove brake line connections.
4. Remove hydraulic unit assembly.
5. Remove hydraulic unit bracket.
6. Install windshield wiper motor.
7. Install brake line connections in the order as shown in the illustration, tighten to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
8. Bleed brake lines. See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
9. Perform pedal adjustment. See: Brake Pedal Assy/Adjustments
