Disassembly and Reassembly
REASSEMBLY SERVICE DETAIL: <A> THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (UPS) INSTALLATION
1. Install the TPS so that it faces as shown in the illustration and then tighten it with the screw.
2. Connect a multimeter between terminal (1) (TPS power supply) and terminal (2) (TPS output) of the TPS connector and check that the resistance
increases gradually as the throttle valve is opened slowly to the fully-open position.
3. Check the continuity between terminal (3) (closed throttle position switch) and terminal (4) (ground) of the TPS connector when the throttle valve
is fully closed and fully open.
