Key Reminder Switch: Description and Operation

When, with the ignition key inserted in the key cylinder (with the key reminder switch at OFF), the driver's door is opened (door switch is switched
ON), the ECU detective circuit will activate.

This system is controlled by either ETACS-ECU or BUZZER-ECU on non-ETACS equipped vehicles.

With the detective circuit activated, buzzer out- put from the drive circuit makes the buzzer sound intermittently to remind the ignition key is still
in the ignition switch.
