Inspect the pulley and the washer. If there are any indications of wear or damage, replace the pulley and washer.
f.
Apply engine oil to the bolt threads and under the bolt head.
g.
Install the crankshaft pulley, pulley bolt and washer. Tighten to 132 Nm (97 ft/lbs). Then go to Step 6.

To ensure that the pulley bolt will not stretch and will maintain its fastening integrity:
a.
Apply paint marks as follows:

Apply a paint mark to one of the notches on the bolt head. Apply a paint mark to the pulley at this same location. This is the "Starting
Point."

Apply a paint mark on the pulley at 45 degrees clockwise from the Starting Point (approximately 1/8 turn). This is the "Target Point."
b.
Rotate the crankshaft pulley bolt toward the Target Point marked on the pulley. If the tightening torque reaches 206 Nm (152 ft/lbs) before
the Target Point, stop tightening. Do not tighten the bolt more than 10 degrees past the Target Point, even if the torque does not reach 206
Nm (152 ft/lbs).
7.
Reinstall the generator drive belt and the power steering drive belt. Adjust the tension of each bell as described in the appropriate service manual.
