Curb idle speed and tolerance specifications in the 1984 Montero Service Manual have been changed.
As a reference to this bulletin, please place the orange labels at the tops of Pages 0-9 and 14-3 in the 1984 Montero Service Manual.

The curb idle speed specification shown on this page now applies only to manual transmission vehicles, and the tolerance for "After 300 miles" has been
changed from +/- 150 RPM to a new value of +/- 100 RPM. Additional specifications for automatic transmission vehicles have been added, as shown
below in the boxed area.
