Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair
HOW TO REDUCE THE FUEL LINE INTERNAL PRESSURE
When removing the fuel pipe and hose, etc., fuel under high pressure will be inside the fuel line, so carry out the following procedure to release the
pressure to prevent the fuel from spraying out.
(1) Take out the carpet in the cargo compartment and remove the floor cover.
(2) Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector.
(3) After starting the engine and letting it run until it stops, turn the ignition switch to OFF.
(4) Connect the fuel pump unit connector.
(5) Install the floor cover packing and the floor cover.
