PURPOSE
This bulletin shows updated information about modified front and rear door hinges in the 1992-95 Montero Service Manual, Volume 1.
To simplify parts supply and usage among various models, the front and rear door hinges on the Montero were changed during production in August
1994. The new style hinges require the use of a different size bolt from the hinges used earlier. The new bolt also requires a different tightening torque.
To reference this bulletin in the service manual, write the TSB Revision number in the TSB Revision box located at the bottom of the affected service
manual page. The 1996 Montero Manual, Volume I contains the correct information.
