Fuel Tank Pressure Release Valve: Testing and Inspection

FUEL TANK PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE

Attach a clean rubber hose, and check the operation of the fuel tank pressure relief valve.

Inspection Procedure: 
-

Blow lightly from the inlet side (fuel tank side). Air should pass through after a slight resistance is felt.

Blow lightly from the outlet side (evaporative emission canister side). Air should pass through.
