1. Disassemble power steering pump in numbered sequence shown in Fig. 41.
2. Reverse numbered sequence shown in Fig. 41 to assemble, noting the following:
a. Install flow control valve spring with larger diameter end at terminal side.
b. Line up dowel pin hole with dowel pin in bump body when installing side plate.
c. Install rotor with punch mark at pump cover side.
d. Ensure rotor snap ring is properly installed.
e. Install cam ring with the punch mark facing the side plate.
