Remove water pump in numbered sequence as shown in Fig. 22 and 23, noting the following:
1. Drain cooling system into appropriate container.
2. Relieve fuel system pressure as described under Technician Safety Information.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Coat O-ring with water to ease installation.
b. Tighten water pump attaching bolts to specifications.
