Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

1. Measure clutch pedal height as shown, Fig. 1. Clutch pedal height should be 6.5-6.7 inches. If clutch pedal height is not as specified, rotate pedal
stopper until specified dimension is obtained.

2. Measure clutch pedal freeplay by lightly depressing on clutch pedal until light resistance is felt. Clutch pedal freeplay should be 0.8-1.4 inches. If
clutch pedal freeplay is not as specified, pull clutch cable lightly at toe board, then rotate adjusting nut until adjusting nut to insulator clearance,
Fig. 2, is 0.12-0.16 inch.
3. Check clutch pedal height and freeplay after making adjustments.
4. Measure distance between face of clutch pedal and floor board, with clutch pedal depressed. Distance should be 2.4 inches or more.
