TITLE: Spare Tire Cover Fit
APPLIES TO: 2001-04 Montero
SERVICE TIP:
The spare tire cover backing plate is revised to accommodate the 2005 Montero. To prevent poor fit and vibration, an adjustment is required if this cover
is installed on a 2004 or earlier model Montero.
Adjustments for 2001-04 vehicle ONLY:
1.Peel the backing from the 2 foam pads which are provided in the kit.
2.Clean the area and position the foam pads onto the backing plate as shown.
