When searching in MEDIC for service information for valve lifter diagnosis information, you may find that no information comes up on the search for
current models, when however, some previous TSBs may apply. TSB-99-11-006 contains valve lifter noise diagnosis information which is still valid for
current vehicles. When searching on MEDIC, if no information is found using the VIN or year and model, try using a more general search using key
words or group numbers without entering a particular year and/or model.
