4. Install the pad assembly to the caliper.
5. Start the engine. Depress the brake pedal fully a few times, and then stop the engine.
6. Turn the brake disc forward 10 times.
7. Check the hub torque (B) with a spring scale.
8. Calculate the drag force of the disc brake [difference between hub torque (A) and hub torque (B)l.
Standard value: 56 N (13 pound) or less
9. If the drag torque exceeds the standard value, disassemble and clean the piston. Check for corrosion or worn piston seal, and check the sliding
condition of the lock pin and guide pin.
