Inspect the carpet on the rear wheel housings for looseness by tugging lightly on the carpet nap. Remember to remove the rear cargo covers to
inspect the carpet in that area, also.

If you find no problem with the carpet, return the seats to the upright position and reposition the rear cargo covers. If the carpet is loose on either
or both sides, proceed with the following repairs beginning with Step 4. Leave the seat backs folded forward and the cargo covers off during
repairs.

Fold back the loose carpet so its underside is exposed. Fold back the carpet far enough so that the adhesive can be applied to the entire area where
the carpet is loose.

You should mask around the area where the adhesive is to be applied to keep adhesive off the normally exposed portions of the interior trim panels
.

Following the instructions on the adhesive can, apply spray adhesive (3M 08088 or 08089) to the exposed trim panel on the wheel housing where
the carpet normally attaches.
