Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection
Fuel Gage Resistance Check
1. Remove the power supply tightening screw.
CAUTION: When inserting the test probe into the power supply terminal, be careful not to touch the printed board.
2. Use an ohmmeter to measure tie resistance between the terminals.
Standard value:
Power supply - Ground: 192 Ohms
Power supply - Fuel gauge: 107 Ohms
Fuel gauge - Ground: 85 Ohms
3. If within the standard value, the fuel gauge is OK. If not within the standard value, replace the fuel gauge.
