Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection
Fuel Gauge Simple Check
Required Special Tool: MB991219: Test: Harness
1. Remove the fuel gauge unit connector E-30.
2. Use special tool MB991219 to connect a test light (12V - 3.4W) to the harness connector E-30.
3. Turn the ignition switch "ON."
4. It the test light illuminates and the fuel gauge needle sways the fuel gauge is normal. If faulty, See: Testing and Inspection/Symptom Related
