Shift Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
SHIFT SOLENOID NO.1 CHECK
1. Disconnect the shift solenoid connector and measure at the sensor side.
2. Measure the resistance between terminal 6 and ground.
Standard value: 11 - 15 ohms [at 25°C (77°F)]
3. If the resistance is not within the standard value, replace the solenoid assembly.
SHIFT SOLENOID NO.2 CHECK
1. Disconnect the shift solenoid connector and measure at the sensor side.
2. Measure the resistance between terminal 7 and ground.
Standard value: 11 - 15 ohms [at 25°C (77°F)]
3. If the resistance is not within the standard value, replace the solenoid assembly.
