Transmission Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INPUT SHAFT SPEED SENSOR CHECK
1. Disconnect the input shaft speed sensor connector and measure at the sensor side.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals 9 and 10.
Standard value: 560 - 680 ohms [at 20°C (68°F)]
3. If the resistance is not within the standard value, replace the input shaft speed sensor.
OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED SENSOR CHECK
1. Disconnect the output shaft speed sensor connector and measure at the sensor side.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 4.
Standard value: 560 - 680 ohms [at 20°C (68°F)]
3. If the resistance is not within the standard value, replace the output shaft speed sensor.
