A letter will be sent to all owners of affected vehicles telling them to bring their vehicle to their Mitsubishi Motors dealer to have the brake vacuum hose
inspected. A copy of the customer notification letter provided in this bulletin.
REQUIRED OPERATIONS
CHECK ON THE WARRANTY SUPERSCREEN to verify that the vehicle is an affected VIN for this campaign and that this campaign procedure has
not already been completed.

Inspect the brake vacuum hose, located between the engine and the hydraulic brake booster.

Replace the hose if the lettering on the hose is white. Go to Step 2 for hose replacement instructions.
