If the lettering on the hose is green, do not replace the hose. This campaign procedure is complete.
To replace the brake vacuum hose:

Remove the old vacuum hose and hose clips.
3.
Install the new vacuum hose and new hose clips as follows:
a.
Connect the end of the hose with the matching mark on the engine side nipple. Align the white mark on the hose with the white mark at the
top of the nipple. Install the new hose clip.
b.
Connect the other side of the hose to the brake booster. Install the new hose clip.
c.
Be sure that both ends of the hose are connected securely and the clips are securely installed.
4.
Confirm the brake booster operation as follows:
a.
Start the engine and run at idle.
b.
Step on the brake pedal.
c.
If the brake pedal effort is hard, the brake vacuum hose is installed backwards. Correct the brake vacuum hose installation. Then repeat steps
4a. and 4b. to confirm proper brake booster operation.

A small supply of brake vacuum hoses will be shipped to each dealer automatically. Orders for additional brake vacuum hoses can be placed through the
normal parts system.
