Ball Joint: Testing and Inspection

1. Press the dust cover with a finger to check whether the dust cover is cracied or damaged.
2. If the dust cover is cracked or damaged, replace the pitman arm, idler arm or tie rod end ball joint.
NOTE: If the dust cover is cracked or damaged, the ball joint, pitman arm, or idler arm could be damaged.
