Repeat steps 6 through 10 to reprogram the A/T side of the PCM. Select "ELC-A/T" on the first MUT-II screen. After reprogramming the A/T
side, press "C", then continue with Step 12.
*NOTE:
When reprogramming the A/T side of the PCM on Federal-emission vehicles, PCM part number MD357513, MD357514, or MD364530 will display
on the MUT-II screen. However, record the appropriate PCM part number in the chart below on the underhood label. A/T operation parameters in
the PCM are appropriate for Federal-emission vehicles. At the time of the reprogramming software update for this bulletin, only 1 part number was
assigned for Federal- and California-emission A/T specifications. Plans for correcting the PCM part numbers for Federal-emission vehicles are under
development.
The PCM part number will not be changed by this reprogramming. Only the ROM ID and Vendor numbers will be changed. To verify that the correct
reprogramming has been made, the A/T ROM ID number and PCM part number* will display on the MUT-II screen. The table below shows the
appropriate PCM part numbers and ECM and A/T ROM ID numbers. (NOTE: Production dates reflect the differential reduction ratio change noted in
TSB-99-00-001.)
