The improved rear propeller shaft part number listed in this bulletin is the same part number as the original part. Inspect the lot number on the
replacement shaft label to determine whether it is the improved part. Lot numbers higher than 000529 are the improved propeller shafts.

When installing the new shaft, align the mating mark made in Step 4 with the decal on the new propeller shaft.
7.
Test drive to confirm that the vibration has been reduced.
NOTE:
Some rear differential flanges may have incorrect phasing markings. If the new propeller shaft does not minimize the low-frequency vibration, the
shaft may need to be rotated 180 degrees opposite the phasing marks.
