REAR AXLE SHAFT FLANGE
COMING LOOSE

Rear Axle Shaft Flange Coming Loose - 2OO1-06 Montero. If the clip securing the flange to the differential side gear fails, it may cause an oil leak.
Install a new, improved clip (p/n 3715A085) and axle flange (p/n 3715A083) on the affected side. The new clip and flange must be installed together.
