Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

1. Relieve the residual pressure from the high pressure hose. Refer to Powertrain Mangement.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the intake manifold plenum.
4. Refer to the illustration for removal procedure.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

Install the gaskets with the projections in the position illustrated.

Be sure to adjust the accelerator and throttle cable.
