PCM REPROGRAMMING FOR DTC P0125
This TSB supercedes TSB-04-13-011, issued October, 2004 to revise the required MUT-III cable and to add the 12-13 pin adapter for 2002-04 models.

PURPOSE
Incorrect PCM software parameters may cause Diagnostic Trouble Code P0125 to set when the vehicle is driven in cold ambient temperatures. To
eliminate this condition, reprogram the PCM as described in this bulletin.

PROCEDURE
CAUTION:
BATTERY VOLTAGE (AS MEASURED AT THE BATTERY POSTS WITHOUT ELECTRICAL LOAD) MUST BE 12.4V OR HIGHER
IN ORDER TO REPROGRAM THE PCM.
1.
Check the underside of the hood to verify that there is no label previously installed to indicate that this TSB reprogramming has already been done.
2.
Verify that the vehicle's PCM part number is listed in the table in Step 9.
a.
Verify whether the ROM ID is the same as the ROM ID listed in the table in Step 9. If the ROM ID is the same as or higher than the ROM
ID in the table, the PCM has already been reprogrammed for this concern.
3.
Use the MUT-III to erase all DTCs set in the PCM.
4.
Verify that your MUT-III has the most current version of the reprogramming database:
a.
Select "Special Function", then select "ECU Reprogramming."
b.
Select "Database File Display". The database version is displayed in the top right corner of the screen. Make sure the database version is
N04101 or greater.
c.
If the database version is less than N04101, install the latest reflash database. Then go to Step 5.
d.
If the database version is N04101 or greater, go to Step 7.
5.
Turn the ignition key to OFF and disconnect the MUT-III.
