Removal Step 1

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

CAUTION:  When replacing the ETACS-ECU, use the ETACS-ECU to which the chassis number is written and the coding is implemented.
Also, if diagnostic trouble code B1761 "Chassis No. not programmed" or B222C "Coding not completed" is set to the ETACS-ECU, replace
with the ETACS-ECU to which the chassis number same as that of vehicle is written and the coding is implemented.

Wireless Control Module (WCM)

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

-

To remove the driver airbag module, refer to SRS, Service Precautions and Air Bag Module(s) and Clock Spring.

When WCM has been replaced, all key ID codes should be registered, referring to the ID code registration necessity judgment table.
