PURPOSE
This bulletin corrects a part number error for one of the special tools used to install the front or rear axle drive pinion in 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991
Montero and Truck models.
As reference to this bulletin, please write the TSB number in the boxes at the bottoms of the affected pages listed in the next paragraph, and write-in the
correct tool number on the illustrations as shown below.

CORRECTION
The Differential Seal Installer tool number, shown in the service manuals as MB990031-01, is incorrect. The correct tool number is MB991168-01.
The handle tool number, MIT304180, is correct.
