Timing Belt: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove hood.

2.

On models with power steering, remove power steering pump pulley.

3.

On all models, remove crankshaft pulley, then the cover assembly.

4.

Rotate crankshaft in normal direction of rotation until No. 1 cylinder is at top dead center and camshaft and crankshaft timing marks are aligned,
