The snap ring which retains the front free wheeling hub body on 4WD vehicles can be damaged by improper removal, causing the hub to be loose on the
axle drive shaft. The proper tool for removing and installing the snap ring is a pair of snap ring pliers. Use of a screwdriver or other tool can deform or
spread the snap ring beyond its yield point. Please be sure to use only snap ring pliers for removing and installing this this snap ring.
