Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

Measure clutch pedal height (A), Fig. 6. Clutch pedal height should be 6.9 inches.

If height is not within specifications, adjust as follows: 

a. Back off adjusting bolt slightly, then loosen jam nut on operating rod.
b. Turn pushrod to adjust pedal height to specified value.
c. Tighten jam nut to lock yoke to rod, then set adjusting bolt so that it does not depress the pedal lever.

After above adjustment is completed, check clutch pedal freeplay (B) and clutch pedal stroke (C), Fig. 6. Clutch pedal freeplay should be .4-.5
inch and pedal stroke should be 5.9 inches.

If clutch pedal freeplay and stroke are not as specified, check for air in hydraulic system or defective clutch assembly.
