14. Inspect the cowl trim for a loose weatherstrip. If there are small detached sections use a permanent adhesive to re-secure it to the trim. If large
sections are detached replace the entire weatherstrip with a commercially available automotive quality self sticking foam weather stripping tape
(1/4" x 3/8").
15. Reinstall the cowl trim, retest for a water leak as described in steps 1-4, and confirm there is no water leak onto the passenger's floorboard.
16. Lower the vehicle and reinstall the wiper arm assemblies and blower motor. Check that the blower works on all speeds.

WATER LEAK ON PASSENGER FLOORBOARD
PURPOSE
Customers of some affected vehicles may report a water leak on the passenger side floor. If the vehicle is parked facing uphill during rains or when the
vehicle is washed water can leak past the cowl trim weatherstrip drip through the HVAC air intake and enter the vehicle through the blower motor area.
This Technical Service Bulletin provides instructions to repair this condition.
